AI-readiness checker

Check in seconds whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google can read and trust your website.

Free, no sign-up. We read your home page, robots.txt and sitemap once.

Why AI-readiness matters

When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI for a local business, the assistant leans on what it can read and trust. That includes your website, but only if bots are allowed in, the page has real text, and your name, address and phone are clearly marked up. Many small-business sites fail one of these without knowing it.

This checker covers the technical basics in about ten seconds. Fix anything marked with a cross first, then the exclamation marks.

Questions

What does the AI-readiness checker look at?

Whether your site loads securely, whether robots.txt blocks AI and search bots (like GPTBot, PerplexityBot and Googlebot), whether you have business structured data with your address and phone, your page title and description, how much readable text there is, a visible phone number, a sitemap and an optional llms.txt file.

Does a good score mean AI will recommend me?

No. It means AI can read your site properly, which is the foundation. Whether AI actually names you also depends on your reviews, directory listings and what other sites say about you. Our free AI visibility scan checks that.

What is robots.txt and why does it matter?

It is a small file on your website that tells bots what they may read. Some websites block AI bots by accident. If ChatGPT or Perplexity cannot read your site, they are less likely to describe your business accurately.

What is llms.txt?

A newer, optional file that gives AI tools a short plain-text summary of your site. It is not required and not every AI tool uses it yet, so we count it as a bonus, not a failure.

Do you store my website?

No. We read the page once to run the checks and do not keep a copy.
